I have never been able to bake with yeast, always end up with a dough that just does not rise. When I came across this recipe using sourdough starter rather then a yeast, I decided what the heck! I was so surprised with the results! A golden brown crispy crust and a chewy crumb! This recipe is not a quick recipe and has a lot of steps but if you enjoy the journey as well as the end result, I encourage you to give it a try. The picture is the actual end results!!!
