The dining hall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry serves plenty of things that don’t sound all that appetizing to me: Steak and Kidney Pudding, Bangers and Mash, and, of course Spotted Dick. However, once my kids discovered that Spotted Dick was a real thing, they simply had to try it!
