Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Whatever you have for breakfast should stick with you until lunch, especially when you’re out working on the farm. We developed a recipe that we could mix up the night before and have it ready to pour into a baking dish and put into the oven in the morning. By the time we get back in from chores and make some coffee, the oatmeal bake is done! We’re all about simplicity around here!

In 2014, my husband and I left the corporate rat race and moved our family to the Missouri Ozarks to farm full time. We are establishing a permaculture farm complete with animals, orchards and gardens. We aim to share our journey with you. This includes the stresses, failures, and woes but (we hope) also the successes and joys! Please come along with us on the ride of our lives.
