I am a poet and writer living on 80 acres in Central Minnesota. My husband and I and the two other families who live here have turned this old hog farm into a combination of gardens, furniture making shop, and restored prairie and wetlands. It is a habitat for humans, chickens, a dog, a pair of sand hill cranes, and birds, bees, Monarch butterflies and other insects too numerous to count.
