We’ve seen so many beautiful bean harvests online from fellow homesteaders this year, but our garden unfortunately failed. It was burned up by the scorching Texas sun while we were distracted by an illness in the family and unable to give it the daily attention it needed. We are blessed to have family members with prolific gardens and they’re always more than willing to share their harvest with us. But what to do with so many beans delivered at once?? Not being a huge fan of canned vegetables, I opted to prepare them for the freezer. Here are the exact steps I took (with lot’s of pictures).
