First it started with chickens…. isn’t that the story of every homesteader? Well in this case our permaculture adventure started with chickens and now after 4+ weeks of chickens in the garden we are about to add a goat and a sheep. Check out this weeks video on how we hooked up our electric fence line to our Premier 1 electric poultry netting in order to move this heard around our micro farm as an automatic mower/tiller system. We also gather one of our first salads from our 40 ft greenhouse just in time for Easter!

GOD'S WONDERFUL CREATIONS, FRESH NUTRITIOUS FOOD & LOVE OF TRADITION Those are the few things that brought this city girl to love the farm life! I'm CeAnne Kosel and I blog here about our little family farm. Once we lived in town with a tiny little city lot, as most do. With a big dream and after lots of prayers and patience we are now blessed with almost 2 acre's of God's green earth in Oregon. We homeschool 4 adopted blessings who love the farm life too. We hope to share our homesteading journey here with you and hope that you will come join us Down on the Farm!
