We love to plant tomatoes in the spring in our garden. We always underestimate how many tomatoes each plant will give us, so we wind up with so many ripe globes of goodness! Fortunately, there’s salsas to be made, chili to be eaten and pizzas to be baked.
Our homemade spaghetti sauce is really quite simple. You can make this on the stove top, or in the crock-pot for those busy days. Or super hot days when you don’t want to add to much more heat into the kitchen. It’s just versatile like that.
