My grandma had an old recipe for Scottish Homemade Tea Scones that she got from a 1960 English Magazine, which according to her note on the recipe card, she had been making for over 30 years. (She lived in England for a couple years.) It seems like this was one of the earliest recipes I ever started baking. I admit, I haven’t made them in years, but I dragged out the recipe today, and they’re just as good as ever.
