Since the 1800’s, many homesteads grew Concord Grapes on their property to turn in to juice, jelly, and wine. The variety is cold hardy and disease resistant, and grows with very little care.
We were delighted to find grape vines growing along the edge of our property when we first purchased our home. The vines were dense and stretched upwards into the surrounding trees. We searched the vines for signs of fruit, found a few small clumps of grapes, and identified the variety as Concord Grapes.
