“The many great gardens of the world, of literature and poetry, of painting and music, of religion and architecture, all make the point as clear as possible: The soul cannot thrive in the absence of a garden. If you don’t want paradise, you are not human; and if you are not human, you don’t have a soul.”
~ Thomas More
I often ponder the power of a garden. Is it my age where I near 50 that makes my thought space reflective? I am not sure. Indeed, I ponder such thoughts of the above as my 20 year old daughter tells me the other day I am anti-social. She dared to say I spend too much time in my garden and should be out socializing with the world more. I laughed quietly as she spoke. She knows not the power of a garden.
