About the Author
Annie was raised in the country and taught the art of simple living, canning and food preservation by three generations of women in her family. Fascinated with the western homesteading lifestyle since she was a little girl, Annie moved to Montana over 13 years ago and began eking out her own path of self-sufficiency. Annie is the founder of Montana Homesteader, a blog about her family's adventures in modern day homesteading in Montana. Annie and her husband also own MontanaSolarCreations and work from home selling their handmade creations in their Etsy shop and blogging about eco-friendly living. When not blogging or crafting, Annie can often be found outside gardening, hunting, bird watching or exploring nature with her husband, daughter and two lazy dogs.
