When the opportunity came to add rabbits to our homestead, we enthusiastically agreed. But when it was time to use them, I had absolutely no idea how. I had never cooked with rabbit before and wasn’t really sure I even wanted to try. I knew it was time to get creative and experiment. Everything I read told me that you could substitute rabbit for chicken and would hardly be able to tell the difference. I found one of our favorite recipes, chicken pot pie, was a great meal to change. If you’re game, here are a few more recipes that lend themselves to rabbit meat.
