I am not a traditional grocery shopper. Here’s the short version – I buy everything I can in bulk, from the farmers market, from local farmers, and then after I’ve gone through those 3 areas I buy from the grocery store. This is how I keep organic/natural foods in our kitchen without breaking the bank.
I consider myself to have a high level of common sense. In regards to bulk and shopping practices in general, I was really stupid. Wilson had it right.
Buying in bulk can save money and time. On the other hand, if not done wisely is can waste both. Make sure to do your research before beginning.
