Another bean in our once a week bean series. This week we took kidney beans out of our food storage (vacuum sealed in bags,,, in a bucket,,, in an underground storage area… (lol – remember, we live in an earth-shelter….we’re totally temperature controlled!!!
Who says food storage beans have to be pintos and little white beans? Mix it up! This week we experimented with red lentils!
Don’t store ‘just’ pinto beans! Break out of that mold. Expand your horizons! Try these light yellow beans called canary beans. They’re originally from Peru.
