Why spend all the money to rent or buy a tractor when you can use chickens to do the work for you? Not only do they till but they give fertilize by giving manure, they eat the bugs (free pesticide!) and then till the manure into the ground. We are moving our chickens for the fourth time through sections in our future herbal tea garden. Check out how much these chickens get done in the garden while we tend to homeschooling, our building project and our new baby lambs.

GOD'S WONDERFUL CREATIONS, FRESH NUTRITIOUS FOOD & LOVE OF TRADITION Those are the few things that brought this city girl to love the farm life! I'm CeAnne Kosel and I blog here about our little family farm. Once we lived in town with a tiny little city lot, as most do. With a big dream and after lots of prayers and patience we are now blessed with almost 2 acre's of God's green earth in Oregon. We homeschool 4 adopted blessings who love the farm life too. We hope to share our homesteading journey here with you and hope that you will come join us Down on the Farm!
