Have you ever heard of a CSA? CSA stands for “community supported agriculture” and whether you know it or not, they can save you a considerable amount of money on your grocery bill by cutting your costs on fresh fruits and vegetables. A local farmer offers a specific number of “shares” to the CSA members or to new families wanting to become a CSA. Each member (or anyone who wants to be a member that season) then pays their buy in fees. The farmer then takes that money and invests it into the farm by using it to purchase seed, make needed repairs and gets the crops started. So how does this save you money? Easy!
