There are many of us that get our adorable baby chicks in spring. We patiently watch while they grow from little downy fluff balls of peeping cuteness to awkward teenagers putting on new feathers and then grow to be beautifully feathered hens that lay gorgeous eggs. Wait! I said hens! Oh, that “hen” crowed. Uh oh, now what do you do?
