I'm Jen. We live on 45 acres in the beautiful state of Virginia on an old Pre-Civil War era tobacco plantation farm. We were homesteaders before we moved, but we are becoming avid homesteaders since the move. Homesteading for us came after my momma died in 2012. We currently raise chickens (for eggs & meat), ducks, goats, and pigs. In the near future we hope to add cattle (for milk and beef) and a billion other things! Once you start- you just can’t stop. And it really does all begin with chickens. We love doing everything DIY and try to build/cook/make most everything from scratch. We’ve been homesteading for two years now, but with our new home(stead) things are about to get c-r-a-z-y (in a good way!) and we hope you stop by because we have some great homesteading stuff to share with you!
