Mr. Man and I attempted a zero-waste cabin getaway in the Ouachita National Park. The cabin was solar powered, on a septic system, and run by generators when necessary. Our goal was to incorporate our home lifestyle of no paper products, very little trash, and no wasted food while we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Here is our account of the 4-day adventure and our respect for the land, and what we learned from our experience.
